Museum Program Coordinator
The Historical Society of Frederick County, Maryland is seeking an energetic, sensitive and creative individual to oversee museum public programs and tours. The ideal candidate will posses at least two years of relevant experience in a historic house or museum, experience supervising volunteers, and exceptional interpersonal and communication skills. A bachelor’s degree in education, history, museum studies or a related field is required, with a master’s degree preferred. The Historical Society of Frederick County is an exciting place to work and is currently under review for accreditation by the AAM. Starting salary is in the mid-twenties.
