Hello:
I am looking for a source for low stanchions (12-24" high) to place in front
of gallery walls to keep touchers farther away from the art. I've seen some
(somewhere in Paris, not sure exactly where) that looked almost like
nautical stanchions, with metal cable strung between them, which I found
fairly attractive and not at all distracting. I keep finding 42"
crowd-control stanchions when I search the web and our various catalogues,
but I want something that isn't visually distracting. Any suggestions? Is
it possible to have our local foundry or carpentry shop fabricate something
attractive and practical (and, hopefully, affordable)?
Thanks in advance-
