The Cummer Museum of Art & Gardens in Jacksonville, FL offers "sleep-overs"
regularly (almost once a quarter). The children participate in studio
projects, have a flashlight tour of the galleries and watch movies.
Ironically, our "Slumber at the Cummer" program began because we created an
exhibition of the work of EL Konigsburg.

Gosh, I did read the cover off that book! It was all taped up by the time I
outgrew it.
I know the National Building Museum sometimes does a huge sleep-over for
girl scouts- do any other museums do sleep-over programs? Seems like a
Mixed-Up Files sleep-over would be a great educational program for an art
museum.
