The viruses themselves send email under the covers without anything appearing on the screen as the sends are happening. A virus that uses Microsoft Outlook to send itself as an attachment could have sent an item to the list with an attachment. If you use MS Outlook on the Home.com system, that is probably what did it if someone is saying you posted an infected attachment.
