Assistant Exhibits Manager
The Mary Baker Eddy Library for the Betterment of Humanity invites
applications for a new full-time position that is immediately available. As
Assistant Exhibits Manager, you will participate in the conceptualization,
design, fabrication, installation, and maintenance of exhibits.
Specifically, candidates are needed with an advanced degree in exhibit
design or equivalent subjects (or comparable training and experience) and
over five years of experience in exhibit design. Requires an in-depth
understanding of the design process from conceptualization to finished
product, plus demonstrated success in design creativity, planning,
organization, and management.
The Library is a unique 21st century not-for-profit educational and
charitable corporation located in Boston's historic Back Bay. Scheduled to
open in the fall of 2002, the Library will house the largest
multi-disciplinary collection of an American woman chronicling her life,
writings, and achievements. Visitors from around the world will be able to
explore Mary Baker Eddy's many dimensions as an author, publisher, teacher,
healer, reformer, and businesswoman through seminars, conferences,
educational programs, forums, interactive exhibits, publications, and
research.
