You may be aware that we now have four email lists for
those news items I used to post. They are:
http://groups.yahoo.com/group/MuseNews-Arthttp://groups.yahoo.com/group/MuseNews-Generalhttp://groups.yahoo.com/group/MuseNews-Historyhttp://groups.yahoo.com/group/MuseNews-Science
I just posted the info below to a couple of those
groups, but it would seem to me that it HAS to be of
value for several of you not otherwise on those lists,
so I am taking the liberty of also sending it here.
From the http://www.emazing.com Web Site of the Day
The Costumer's Manifesto Pattern Links
I have several friends who are into that whole
historic reenactment stuff, and they are always
talking about the costumes they make for these events.
So I found a great site that contains an enormous list
of links to sewing and pattern sites for not only
history buffs, but anyone who wants a vintage pattern.
If you were upset last Halloween because you couldn't
find that Scarlett O'Hara gown, why not get started
right away and make it yourself for this year's party?
The site also has a list of Unusual & Hard To Find
Modern Patterns, for those of you who simply want to
look unique.
