Dear Listers:
I apologize for the second posting. My computer has been acting up and I
wasn't sure whether or not this went through.

An artist with a small art collection recently asked me if he should create
a registry.  I wasn't even sure what he was referring to.  Could anyone be
so kind as to explain what  a registry is? What are the pros and cons of
creating a registry and how would someone  go about creating one? Any
information at all would be helpful.
