Contact Mimi DeMore here at Conner Prairie Museum. She had a cap installed into our 1823 Conner House which is very inconspicuous. Her address is [log in to unmask] or call 317-776-6000 xt. 100.

Greetings,
I am having trouble finding a good design for a chimney cap. Our 1859
Greek Revival mansion has two chimneys that desperately need capping. I
have tried Old House Journal online and a basic web search, including
the NPS briefs, without finding a design that would be 'low profile'
enough.
Ideas?
Thanks,
Fielding
