There is also the New Mexico Museum of Space History in Alamogordo, NM. Their web site is http://www.spacefame.org/. Perhaps they would have some loanable artifacts.

Hi all,
How does one get one's hands on cool space stuff? We are looking at
producing an exhibition on Space and would like to get some real
artifacts on loan to sweeten the pot, as it were- anyone got any ideas??
Apparently the Smithsonian holds everything but who do you contact?
Thanks
