Kajal-
Most globes have a stand with an arched arm that holds the globe. Unless
this arm is really poorly put on then why not remove the base the secure it
with a screw and/or a locking bolt. Also, you could you hex screws to
prevent it from being easily undone. If the arm is not securely on the
globes, then why not have the globes drilled all the way threw the centers
(at the North or the South pole for instance) and insert a dowel rod that
you could screw securely to a arm of your design and then to a base. Also,
I would check to see if their is any problem with pinched fingers under the
arm. You might want to cover the arm with a plastic cover to prevent
fingers from going between the arm and the globe.
