I used to lug around all sorts of 35mm equipment, but eventually went to a
small Olympus camera on a belt pouch, which I carried everywhere. I don't
think you can beat the Olympus for value and reliability. Shooting up to 100
rolls a year gives you a pretty good view of how good a camera is!
Having said this, I must report on the Fuji 2400 digital camera my son gave
me for Christmas. It has all the features I ever wanted on a digital camera
(except the telephoto lens doesn't compare with the Olympus's. It is
slightly larger than the Olympus. With a laptop and two 32 Mb SmartMedia
cards, I can shoot away all day.
