First, a word of explanation. Does this posting
include the word museum anywhere in it? No. Could
you possibly make it fit you? Yes.
They want to support communication. Does your museum
have a number of publications available and/or
communication devices (I'm thinking of the nice man in
Glendale, AZ with the gadget machine).
They also support programs for children and youth. Is
your museum facilitating and encouraging a great many
students? Do you offer classes as after-school
enrichment. Do you have books they can purchase in
your gift shop that augments their studies?

Funder: R.R. Donnelley Foundation
Summary:
The mission of the R.R. Donnelley Foundation is to
make R.R. Donnelley the neighbor of choice and the
employer of choice in the communities in which we
operate. The
R.R. Donnelley Foundation is one way in which we
accomplish this -- by making monetary grants to
organizations serving those communities.
The R.R. Donnelley Foundation evaluates all grant
proposals against two major priorities. We give
special consideration to any grant that fulfills both
of these priorities.
Because we are a communications company, we give
high priority to activities that support the written
word.
To ensure the future strength of our communities, we
give grants to programs that serve children and youth.
Proposals are accepted between January 1 and November
1 every year.
Funding and policy decisions are made by a Foundation
Board composed of company executives, who meet
quarterly.
