I work with two small, mostly-volunteer historic collections which struggle
mightily with trying to maintain their old log cabins, steam-era rolling
stock, etc. In both groups there has been discussion of trying to minimize
future maintenance needs by providing roofs or other sheltering structures
to help protect the historic objects/buildings. I would appreciate comments
or advice from anyone who has experience along those lines.
Thanks!
