The Macon County Conservation District in Decatur, Illinois offers a six
month internship with pay and a housing stipend. The District owns
Homestead Prairie Farm, a c.1860 farmstead, which is on the National
Register and other historic sites including the Gov. Oglesby Mansion and
Bethel School. Duties include interpretation, collections, research, and
various administrative duties as needed. Some weekend work required.
