Hi.
I have just begun working with an extensive archive.  As I am reading a report on the archives assessment doen by a contracting company, I came across the term disposition.  I am unfamiliar with this term. It seems to me that it is similar to deaccession. Is this a common term associated with archival material? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
