Well I was going to respond to some of the other entries, but I think I agree with most of them.
But I really wanted to emphasize number six here. Amen, and second it. However, I would like to
show my bias here. Although its not completely acurate, Mac's will tend to last longer in the
range of computer history. I know there aren't any programs, I know people have problems with
them, but they wouldn't phase out as quickly. Just a thought. I know they are more expensive,
but if a museum were thinking that they wouldnt have to buy every seven or eight years Macs might
be an option.
Just a thought. And please, all those in charge of museums, go check out the tech planning
information on Techsoup.org. Please.
