With regard to the inclusion of donor's names in exhibit labeling, we have
a form that is sent to every donor along with the gift agreement in which
we ask whether or not they want to be credited in labeling; we also give
them the opportunity to include an "In memory of" or similar line. I don't
know that it disturbs the "flow" of reading; the object label does not
occur in the midst of narrative but is separate from it, and I guess the
visitor can read either all or part of it as they choose.
