On two occasions I have and am working with our PBS affiliate KET. They
produced several years ago a documentary of Truman Lowe, a Native American
who did a project at MSU funded through the NEA with some money for KET
production. Now they are producing a documentary for them/us on Ellis
Wilson, a black Kentucky native who made a name for himself last century
(20th) with their own money. On both occasions it has, is, a good
experience. The key is to find someone at your affiliate who likes the
project and will speak on its behalf.

The affiliates also work with many independent producers. If they can't do
it may one of them can.

From where I sit it, Drayton Hall looks like something they would be
interested in. The trick is to make it more exciting than watching paint
dry.

Good luck and I will be back to visit after the conservation.
