The Minneapolis Institute of Arts
The Minneapolis Institute of Arts seeks a person to assist in teaching art history and the museum's collection to a new docent class starting this fall. Position includes counseling docents and evaluating papers and oral presentations. Requirements include a MA in Art History, demonstrated mastery of basic pedagogical theory and technique, including learner-centered approach to teaching, and experience teaching art history. Strong research skills, written and oral communication skills and ability to work well with staff and volunteers essential. Full-time, temporary position starts 7/1/01 through 12/31/02.
