This sounds like a good opportunity for a CAP grant or follow-up
Conservation Project Support grant.

Perhaps you have already been there (CAP) and are looking at CPS for
funding.

Another option would be to look for museums near you with up-graded storage
facilities.  All in all - how exciting for you!
