Subject: Re: Seeking International Sculpture Partner
Hi Lynn,
Your program sounds great. I am a sculptor/installation artist who has done
international residencies and many projects in the schools. I would suggest
Europas Parkas which is in Lithuania as a possibility. They are a sculpture
park that has an annual conference with international sculptors each year
and a residency program. I have not been there but have corresponded with
them about possibilities. I can provide address and contact info if you are
interested. I was an artist in residence last year at the Paper Art
Village Project in Mino City, Japan, and they are affiliated with the Mino
Washi Museum in Mino City. If you are interested in papermaking this might
be a good possibility. I have also worked as an artist in residence doing
paper sculpture/installation art at the Duntog Foundation in Baguio City,
Philippines. Good luck with your project and the grant application. Please
contact me off list if you want more information. I would also be
interested in knowing if you have any residencies for sculptors there in
Raleight???
Thanks,
Jane
