John --
We are in agreement. It is perfectly acceptable, and even expected, to
answer the question (sensitively, of course) during the interview, when an
offer has been made or is being made.
The original post had asked:
> My question is, is there a particular format on presenting this? or does
one simply type it > on paper and send with their letter/resume?
and it was the revealing of this information at the cover letter / resume
stage which I and others have objected to.
Thanks for a thought-provoking conversation!
