Want to gain valuable museum experience in colorful Colorado?
The Wings Over the Rockies Air and Space Museum has a limited number of
openings for qualified volunteers in the following areas:
Exhibit Design and Fabrication
Collections Management
Conservation
If you have training and/or experience in these areas, this could be a
great opportunity for you to add to your skills while making a real
contribution in your field. If you're hoping to become employed in a
museum, you can't beat having some genuine experience on your resume. A
smaller museum can give you a chance to cross-train in a variety of
positions, and to play a larger role in projects.
Wings Over the Rockies is a young (6 year old), up-and-coming air and space
museum in a beautiful suburban Denver setting. In addition to more than 30
aircraft, we also have growing collections of uniforms and flight gear,
models, aerospace equipment, books, periodicals, photographs, and archival
material.
