>Make a possible list of subjects for a thesis/dissertation?
What the person wanted for some general ideas, not for actual specific
in-depth topics to be name. I am willing to bet the person has thought long
and hard and probably already has a couple of ideas, and has asked friends
too. The way I read the request was a request purely for additional ideas
to toss around.
Everyone, including university professors throw around ideas and like to
get contributions from others to broaden their knowledge.
The rest of your post I think is unfair towards the person concerned.
