I know that Willoughby, the makers of Multi-MIMSY, has two available
applications (called Mobile Museum) for MIMSY that use handheld devices.
One is useful for inventories and the other for adding/editing curatorial
information. I haven't used them but you might want to check their webpage
at www.willo.com.

Subject: Handheld use in Museums
Greetings! (and apologies for cross-postings!)
I'm doing some research on how museums are using handheld PDAs (i.e. Palm
pilot,
Handspring, etc). If you have a project at your institution, or know of
projects out there, could you please send me some information off-list?
I would greatly appreciate it!
Best-
