For ceramics collections you should take a look at the Everson Museum of
Ceramic Art, in upstate NY I think, and the Mint Museum of Craft + Design
in Charlotte. the Official Museum Director does have an index by
collection type.

I'm searching for museums (and possibly galleries) in the United States
that have strong collections, even specialize, in ceramics and/or Central
Asia. Any suggestions?
