I don't think many can have much disagreement with David Haberstich's
point of view.
The problem will be exactly the same as Library of Congress had and
that will be the way of the future. As globule corporateasation expands
and money is derived from fewer and fewer sources; how do we maintain
control and standards?
I fear that the next four years will see governmental funds drying up
and the controls on how business does business being even less than in
the last eight. How well we be able to enforce ethical standards, when
the choice comes between having exhibitions and not?
