The Frank Lloyd Wright Preservation Trust
Oak Park, Illinois

The Preservation Trust operates as museums two premier sites of
international architectural significance:  Wright's own home and studio in
Oak Park and his Frederick C. Robie House on the campus of the University of
Chicago.  The Preservation Trust also develops public education programs,
operates a research center, and provides international leadership in the
restoration and stewardship of landmark properties.  The vice president will
be responsible for day-to-day operations of six of the organization's eleven
departments.  This is a newly created senior position, located in Oak Park,
reporting to the president.

The vice president will manage the human resources function, supervise
budget planning and monitor the budget, create and manage an internal
communications system, and develop and manage methods of evaluating the
organization's work and progress toward goals.

We seek candidates with at least 15 years' experience, an understanding of
the operation of not-for-profit organizations and demonstrated management
and organizational skills.  Prior experience in a museum setting, as well as
in human resources, financial management, and employment policy are strongly
preferred.

The salary range is low $60s to mid $80s.
