Frankly, I think the Kimball should be embarassed. I understand absolutely
that museum rules often evolve out of one bad experience, and that we try,
as much as possible, to control what happens in our galleries.
However, someone dropped the ball on this one, and as soon as the woman
disclosed her disability, they should have let her in without question.
It is a good idea to review rules for visitors, in light of ADA, and to
train frontline staff in how to deal with these situations as they come up.
