Gayle:
Although I understand your sentiment in apologising, which speaks volumes of
your kind heart, I don't feel you have anything on earth to apologise for.
The service you have provided so very many over the years has been of
inestimable value, and I haven't seen anyone else stepping up to the plate
as you have.
I strongly encourage others to walk a mile in her shoes before you make
judgements.
Gayle, I love the name "Indigo Nights" and at this point it has come to
represent a person out there working hard, who needn't feed their ego by
only posting with their given name, and who also embodies what non-profits
and the museum world in general are all about; helping, careing, teaching,
giving guidance, providing cultural awareness, etc., etc., etc.
To be quite blunt, this from one who has 25 years with non-profits, if you
cannot appreciate the level of commitment Indigo presents to us nearly every
day, then perhaps you should consider another profession. Politics maybe.
Indigo; if ever we meet, the Crown Royal is on me. At very least a good
latte.
