The annual "Museums and the Web" conference coordinated by Archives & Museum
Informatics features a "Best of the Web" juried competition each year. This
year's winners were announced in April and are listed online at
http://www.archimuse.com/mw2000/best/index.html. For historical
perspective, the winners from the past three years are listed from there as
well.

Subject: museums online opinions
I am writing a short article on museums and the web / virtual museums,
and would appreciate any input you may have.
I''m especially interested in receiving URLs for museum sites / projects
that you think are excellent / inspirational / innovative. It would be
great if you could append a short statement (even if only three words)
about why. Alternatively, negative examples and general ideas are also
welcomed.
Thanks for you help.
