I'm no expert on ceramics collections, so I can't make comparisons in terms
of quantity and quality, but you might also want to catch the Hall of
Ceramics at the National Museum of American History while it's still there.
(The times, they are a-changing.)

You might also be interested to know that, due to changing "demographics,"
there are hardly any curators of ceramics left, or at least few new ones.  A
colleague assured me of this some years ago.  I assume they're all gone by
now...
