Jamie,
Look on the Smithsonian's Web site. There are always
job listings there, many of them entry level. Also,
try www.usajobs.opm.gov/, there are sometimes museum
jobs listed there as well.
I would also suggest setting up informational
interviews, especially in the areas that you are
interested in (curatorial, development, etc.). Just
letting people know that you are out there can be a
very valuable asset when applying and being considered
for certain jobs.
Also, try the Pope John Paul cultural center at
Catholic University. It just opened and I hear that
they will be hiring more and more people in the
future.
