You might want to contact two Australian organizations:
1. Historic Houses Trust of New South Wales - includes the interesting
Museum of Sydney, an old convict barracks, a slum tenement in The Rocks,
historic houses, etc., the most polyglot grouping I know!
2. The Museum of Victoria - includes a large museum in beautiful new digs,
the best science museum I ever saw, and is creating an air museum at a
former RAAF base and a museum of immigration.
The national Museums and Galleries on Merseyside in Liverpool is a varied
collection of institutions and I am sure they do strategic planning.

Subject: Hello everyone.
> Hello everyone.
>
> I wondered if anyone might recommend a model for strategic planning that
takes into account organizations comprised of multiple facilities.
>
> We operate a museum, cultural center, heritage farm, and historic house.
> These facilities range in their development from master plan stage to
newly opened to established for 40 years. We are about to do a new plan and
are looking for a process that will provide each facility the opportunity to
take advantage of its distinctive qualities and yet create synergies where
possible.
