There is a collection of 40 Noh masks from Japan that is now on tour in
Florida as part of sister-state relationship between Wakayama Prefecture and
Florida. It is now at the Morikami Museum in Delray Beach on the east coast
of Florida. The Morikami with beautiful gardens also houses a large
collection of Japanese arts and crafts. Their phone # is 561-495-0233.
If you are in this area, the exhibit travels here next - starting Dec. 8. A
Noh mask carver and a Noh dancer is also touring to give presentations on
the art of the masks.
