The AAM Diversity Coalition
(http://www.homestead.com/aamdiversitycoalition/homepage.html) is currently
putting together a short resource guide for small and culturally specific
museums to assist in locating resources and avenues to get "on-line." This
information will be distributed to interested museum professionals in
attendance at AAM's 95th Annual Meeting, May 14-18, 2000 in Baltimore, MD.
The chairs of the committees have determined the importance of setting up
communications channels much like this list-server for their constituents
but understand that many of them are not "webafide." Please assist them
with this important initiative. Send any information about financial
support and programs that assist small museums to get on-line. Direct your
responses to [log in to unmask]
Thank you.
