Rich-
Although I agree that this we should never deny access to any museum because
we do not agree with their message, but you are wrong that this isn't a
reasonable topic for this list.  In some situation, the stand that a
particular state or local government may very well effect people on this
list.  The historic site that I work for is state funded, what if they would
ban the Boy Scouts from access to all State funded recreation areas (which
includes us)  What are we supposed to do?  This goes directly against what
you just stated.

As far as your second part I totally disagree.  I have the right whether or
not I work for a museum to hold any political point of view.  It should be
stated that the position is mine alone and not that of the museum.  But just
because something is controversial doesn't mean its not right!
