Does your institution, or one that you know of, make use of e-learning
opportunities for staff development and training?
By "e-learning" I mean Web-based training, distance learning courses,
computer-based training (CBT) and other forms of electronic learning.
Many corporations and large government agencies use e-learning to train
staff worldwide. What are the possibilities for museums to use e-learning
for their staff? Could a group of museums, archives, and other institutions
to collaborate in developing training in e-learning formats?
I'm interested in hearing if and how museums are venturing into the
e-learning world. Post to the list, or contact me directly.
Thanks in advance.
Barbara Smith
