Leslie,
The Western Reserve Historical Society (my employer) has a living history
farm site south of Cleveland, called Hale Farm. The first-person
interpretation there is set in 1848, and does involve a number of foodway
programs. You may want to contact our Foodways Manager there, Amy Halsey
(1-800-589-9703, extension 238) or Shelley Pearsall, our historian there
(same number, extension 224).
Hope that helps a little!
