I do not think this is abuse at all, but rather an appropriate use of this
forum. As museum professionals it is imperative that we let employers know
what are and what are not appropriate wages, expectations and conditions.
Without a union, we make our own working conditions by informal social
commentary. Ignorance and lack of communication creates a situation where
honest and enthusiastic museum professionals can be taken advantage of simply
because they do not know the difference between a good and a bad deal.

Ridicule on! It's your right and acts to promote fair labor practices for
all!
