We certainly offer a related degree at NYU: the School of Education's
Art & Art Administration offers a Masters Degree for those preparing for
a career in the non-profit sector, in the for-profit sector, in Costume
Studies, and in Folk Art. Many of my students who have graduated after
taking my Exhibition Design course at New York University have moved into
careers in museums here in New York and across the country. Whether they
would have done as well without their MAs is not clear, but there is no
question that their credentials were well-respected by such institutions
as the Whitney, the Guggenheim, and PS 1 where several found work fresh
from their studies.
Good Luck!
