Kathy,
Check out my condensed tips on Preservation at
http://www.jimlyons.com./Preservation.html and consider if you want
to invest in a roll of polyester (available at major plastic houses),
a roll or two of acid-free double sided tape and the time it takes to
encapsulate your posters. Est. cost = perhaps $100 for materials and
several hours of labor. (DO NOT let the double-sided tape touch your
posters. It will pull the surface right off. Used correctly it's
quite safe. Practice first. Tips on its use on request.)
