THIRD CONFERENCE on
PARTNERSHIP OPPORTUNITIES
for FEDERALLY ASSOCIATED COLLECTIONS

A preliminary program on the Third Conference on Partnership
Opportunities is now available.

This conference will provide a forum for non-Federal and Federal
participants to address issues
related to the long-term management of Federally associated collections.
Goals of this
conference are 1). to foster communication and cooperation among Federal
and non-Federal
managers of Federal collections, 2). to create new and revive old
partnerships, and 3). to
improve technical expertise related to managing Federally associated
collections of all kinds. The
conference is sponsored by the U. S. Department of Interior and the
Texas Association of
Museums and is planned in partnership with the Interagency Federal
Collections Working
Group.
