We are a small regional history museum as well.  We have had good success
with items from Dover and Fun Express.  There's also a company called
Cooperman Fife & Drum (1-806-767-1779) out of Connecticut that we get some
early period toys from.  The first thing that popped into my mind when you
mentioned the interest in railroad items was a company from New Hampshire
called White Mountain Puzzles that has a 1000 piece jigsaw puzzle called
"Historic American Railways."  We just got it for our giftshop recently but
have sold other puzzles of theirs in the past. They're on the web at

want to check out a company we just found out about called Chatham Hill
Games that has historic-themed items (www.chathamhillgames.com and
