Dear list,
I have been trying to acquire the proper permits (they don't exist) for
the transfer of a ringed seal (Phoca hispida) to our Museum for
taxidermy purposes. It appears now, after three months of calls,
letters, email and faxes that it is not going to happen. I need the
mounted creature to help illustrate (exhibit opens in a year) the impact
of changing climate conditions on arctic species. Does anyone know
of/have ringed seal mounts available for loan?
Thanks for the consideration.
