The Southdown Plantation House/The Terrebonne Museum.
A non-profit organization, in the fast growing city of Houma, LA is
seeking a dynamic, creative Director/Curator to work with a Board of
Directors in the management of an ambitious and expanding museum. Minimum
requirement is a baccalaureate degree from an accredited four-year college
or university with major work in history, art history, American studies or
related areas of fine arts.
All aspects of operation include: public outreach, grant-writing, fund
raising, exhibit and brochure designing, collection management, supervising
of staff and volunteers.
Salary and benefits are negotiable.
