Most of the labelling I have done has been on archaeological
samples(prehistoric pottery, stone tools, bone, etc.) and historic materials
(glass, metals, glazed ceramics, wood). I find that India ink and a crow
quill pen work best for me on all these materials. I've tried fiber-tip and
technical pens and don't like them as well- the ink in fiber tip pens
especially seems to spread even if the B-72 is thoroughly dry first.
