Being in Baltimore, where Grace Hartigan works, I couldn't resist going
right to the source herself: Ms. Hartigan just told me by telephone that she
did a painting called "The Faraway Places" that is in the collections of the
San Antonio Museum. She doesn't recall making a drawing.
