I was perusing CNN just now, as is my custom
throughout the day, and saw a rather interesting note
about Barbie about to sport First Lady Gowns.
Something in the dark recesses of my mind kept jumping
out of the shadows to say, "Hey, haven't I read about
that somewhere before . . . uh, like maybe on the
Museums List?
Well, lo and behold! As I read further, down the page
(screen), here comes a name jumping right out and
boinking me in the face! Olivia Anastasiadias,
curator of the Richard Nixon Library!
"Hey, wait a minute," I says to myself says I.
"That's OUR Olivia! Those are OUR Barbies!"
Folks, you've got to see them for yourself and read
the article.
Way to go, Olivia! That's two for you guys this week.
First I see the Library projected in the movie
"Hanging Up," (whether or not it's the actual library
or not, I can't say, for as close as I live to
it--maybe 30 miles, if that, I've never been--yet),
and now this.
