Jill,
You might try one of the many pro-farming advocacy groups out there.
The American Farmland Trust produces promotional material (I worked on a
small exhibition in upstate New York that promoted them). In upstate New
York, there's the Cornell Cooperative Extention which monitors and studies
farmland. I'm sure there are many other organizations like these around
the country (particularly in the mid-west).
